Wow, what a storm!

The sky was an inky black, sprinkled in dark grey. The storm was coming; thunder boomed out to the Earth and lightning soared down, striking trees.

You run towards a cave nearby. Strong winds begin blowing you away a bit.

Suddenly, you're blown into the air. You scream in fear and clutch a tree fearfully. The tree is blown out of it's roots and you fly onto the top of the cave.

On it sits a red kougress. She's fully grown, but a bit small in size. She had silvery white stripes, and metal, knife-like wings. Her left front leg was made of metal as well. She had an expressionof seriousity on her face. Her ears perk as she hears you kick a rock standing up.

She looks back at you, her serious face gone. A small, gentle smile appears on her face. "Hello...who might you be?

You smile kindly, and state, "guest."

She sighed, and looked away to the storm. "Search around for information on me, but...you might hate yourself in the end."

With that, the wind blows you away again as the rain pours down on you, causing the kougra to be rained out of sight.

My Past

Someoa..."

I mewed pitifully. I felt a soft, cold nose nudge me. A feathery wing held me close, warming me.

Someoa...that is your name."

I pryed my eyes open, and looked up the white kougress. She was pretty! Was she my mom..?

Good. You can see now..." she said quietly with a gentle smile. I saw a dark shadow kougra in the shadows, onlooking me and my mother. He had 3 golden hoop earrings on his left ear, and red eyes. His right eye had a sparkle in it...as if a star. He wore chain links around his neck. I will never forget his look. It was so kind...so loving.

Clash, I'll take her from here...I know you're busy...so...bye..."

She walked towards him and kissed him for a moment. She then walked back to me as he dissappeared in the forests. She picked me up in her mouth and we set off into the night.

Tiger, she's beautiful..."

I heard a kind voice as I awoke from my slumber. My eyes wandered up to the woman. She had wolf ears and a wolf tail, along with long silver hair and icy blue eyes. She had 2 navy blue scars on each cheek, and a black crescent moon scar on her forehead. She wore a dark grey kimono.

What's her name?" she said, stroking my back lovingly. I purred at the calm woman's hand.

Someoa Cub." Mom said with a proud smile.

CLASH!!"

My ears perked. I looked back fearfully, "Mommy, what's wron-"

I suddenly saw what was wrong. I was a cub now, and had grown close to my mother and father. So much that I was never seen without one of them by my side.

Dad...dy?" I said is a small, rhaspy voice. My father lay dead in front of me and my mother, who was in tears, staring at the lifeless heap of darkness.

Tears welled in my eyes. Who did this!? Who!? Who hated daddy!? I would track down this person...

My eyes went ablaze with anger and I tore away from my mother and dead father. I leapt into the forests, tears still streaming down my face.

As I ran, I saw the female from so long ago. The woman...what was her name? Oh yeah...Shiori.

My eyes widened and I halted in my tracks. I stared at her hands; they were dripping with blood.

Someoa...you'll travel faster with wings." she said quietly. I gulped fearfully.

Come with me...I know someone who makes metal things. They'll be more than happy to give you wings..but...it will be excruciating to attach them to your body so they are usable...are you willing to endure that pain?"

My eyes narrowed. "Yes."

We arrived at a broken, small hut. A woman scuttled out the entrance. "Shiori? Is that you?"

She wore a white bandana around her eyes. Her red hair draped over her shoulders and back. She was human...

Yes, Ayame." Shiori said quietly, walking towards her and placing one hand on her shoulder. "I have one of my kougras here...she wants metal wings. Could you..."

Ayame rose her hand to halt Shiori's voice. "Come."

Shiori walked in and I followed after her. Ayame scuffled through her small hut, touching things as she did so, as if developing her path.

Here we are..." she said, as she picked two rather large metal wings from a top shelf in the shadowy corner of the room.

Someoa...get on the table... so we can connect the wings to you and your nerves."

This sounded painful. But, being the obedient little cub I was, I obeyed all the same. I lay down, and shut my eyes tight, trembling with fear.

It'll be okay..." Ayame coaxed. She pat my head gently. I calmed down a bit...this woman had the same calming touch as Shiori.

Ready, Shiori?"

Shiori nodded. "Ready."

Ayame lifted a dagger, and gently slashed at my shoulder blades. I roared in pain, tears falling from my eyes. This was torture!

Too little blood." she said coldly, as she slashed them again. I roared again. Shiori placed her hand under mine so I could squeeze it and try not to focus on the pain.

I can see the nerves now, Ayame. Hand me a dagger." Shiori said quietly. "For you, the nerves are on sector A-7, G-4, and P-9. Make sure you cut them horizontally."

I no longer focused on their conversation; I had no idea what they were saying. I roared again and again as I felt my nerves inside me be slashed open, and then connected to cold metal.

The pain was excruciating...and I will never forget it.

We're done, Someoa..."

I was whimpering, my ears drooped. I felt some large, heavy things on my back...what were they..? I was too nausious and delerious to know.

You have wings now. Rest up here for a couple of days and you can go back into the world in no time." Ayame said with a smile. "And sorry that hurt so much. We couldn't just plaster them on your skin...then they'd just be useless scraps of metal."

I moaned in response, and struggled to my feet.

I..need to go...find who killed Daddy..."

Shiori was quiet.

N-No!" Ayame exclaimed. "You can't! You'll die! You need more nutrients in your blood-"

I'll hunt." I snarled. I leapt out the door and into the woods at a fast run.

I was alone as I ran, no one around me. I hunted a few birds to eat and lapped some water out of any rivers I passed, but I was determined to find who murdered my father.

Why are you in my territory!?" I heard a cold voice snarl. I looked up. There was a mutant kougra in the trees. He had emerald green fur with dark navy blue stripes. He had 2 darigan wings upon his back that were red and black. His eyes were a blood red.

I--I'm sorry." I said fearfully. He snorted as he leapt down and grasped my front-left leg in his teeth and claws. I screamed in pain as he tore my leg clean off.

Hmph...I hate him about as much as I (used to) hate Sokumatu. He is madly in love with Onee-chan, but whenever Onee-chan tells someone or she does something wrong, Nakumn will bite her on the neck and let her bleed. Onee-chan is afraid of him though, because he's sworn he will be a vampire one day. And to make things worse, he forced his pup to Kuurorro. I would love to kill you...
