Quote of the Week
However, just as he entered his bedroom, he was suddenly ambushed by someone. Before he could even use his infamous screech, a dirty, old bandana was placed around his mouth, effectively gagging him. Then he was stuffed into a bag and was thrown out of the window before he was dragged away to places unknown.
Neopian Zombie Apocalypse
Have you ever thought of what you and your neopets would do if there happen to a zombie apocalypse here in Neopia? Well, think no more. I have come up with some places I think would be perfect for a long hideout in case zombies attack. Please keep in mind that all these hideouts are locations I think would be great for a neopet to survive long-term. It doesn't necessarily mean that these locations would be your ideal hideout for your neopets.
Guide For the Recently Ghost-ed
Having a dramatic change in physical appearance can be incredibly stressful for anyone, but even more so when those physical changes come along with changes in ability. If you’re reading this, you (if you’re a Neopet) or your pet (if you’re something else) has recently been painted Ghost! You may be wondering, what does this mean for you? What accommodations will need to be made? Why does everyone keep howling when they see you, despite your desperate attempts to remind them of who you are?
The Lament of the Water Faerie
I know what you’re thinking. Don’t lie to me, I hear it all the time. It’s always the same with you Neopians when you get a Water Faerie quest. You can’t be grateful for having a random faerie quest - oh no, Fyora forbid! What you want is a Fountain Faerie Quest. I’ve seen how you talk about them, those precious “FFQ”s that everyone is clamouring for. And once you get one, are you satisfied? No, now you just want more.

Story text goes here. The sun was setting over Faerieland. Tula watched as everything around her slowly became shrouded in a dusky light. She dipped her hand into the blue green water of the lake by the Faerie Caverns. Only minutes ago the water had been warm and welcoming - now, without the rays of the sun, it was already beginning to cool.
"Isn't it marvellous?"
Startled by the sudden, unexpected voice, Tula jumped, splashing water on to the lilac gauze of her dress.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to surprise you."
Tula smiled, a flash of perfect white teeth. She had the best smile in the whole of Neopia. You could say it came with the job. "Please, don't worry about it." She nodded at Illusen in agreement. "You're right, it is marvellous. So many new things we're experiencing now we live down here on the land." There was a slightly wistful tone to her voice.
Illusen looked at her sympathetically. "You miss the clouds?"
"Why yes. Don't you?"
The Earth faerie laughed merrily. "I'm an Earth faerie! I love being down here, surrounded by trees and leaves and plants and earthy delights!" Illusen smiled kindly. She was holding a basket of large, ripe fruit. "I must take these to Faerie City and then get back to Meridell. Do come visit my glade, when you have the chance. No doubt you have a busy night ahead of you?"
"Yes! Yes, of course!" Tula sounded far more enthusiastic than she was actually feeling. "It's been lovely seeing you, Illusen."

Even back in Year 4, Neopia Central was a busy place.
Bustling crowds of shoppers hurried from one store to the next with their Neopets, or stopped to eat, or unfolded that week’s copy of the Neopian Times to read the conclusion to their favourite series.
Amid the throng, a young girl strode with purpose. She was a simple light-skinned human, with her long brown hair tied back and her blue eyes hidden shyly behind glasses. Certainly, she did not stand out among her fellow owners.
But one thing made her different.
She was alone.
By herself, she wended her way down the street, listening to excited chatter about a new species of Neopet, the Tonu, that had just been discovered in Tyrannia, and of the rewards being given by a dark faerie named Jhudora, whose cloud in Faerieland had recently been opened to patrons.
Tyrannia and Faerieland. They felt worlds away from the girl’s home in Neopia Central. How badly she longed to see them, to explore everything Neopia had to offer.
But this world also had its fair share of dangers, she knew from her reading. She would need a Neopet companion for the journey.
And now, she felt she was ready to take the plunge.
Finally she came to her destination. She clutched the straps of her rucksack and craned her neck up at the Create-a-Pet Centre, an enormous building made of elegant curving glass and spires of gold. It was the oldest structure in Neopia Central, and it was said the faeries created it eons ago.

“Nooo, Sarina!” Torin called desperately.
His friend teetered precariously on the brink of the pit. Her hands grabbed fistfuls of air. But it was futile really. She fell all the same.
Torin sighed a soft sigh. His shoulders drooped slightly. He walked slowly over to the edge of the pit.
“Why do I get such a strong sense of déjà vu about this?” He asked the ceiling.
Maybe, he thought, it had something to do with the fact that he had seen this before. In fact, it was the fifth time this month he had watched Sarina fall into a similar pit.
“Are you okay, Sarina?” he called down.
She was. The Aisha was sitting up already. She had survived many bigger falls than this one.
“Hold tight,” he called to her “while I figure out a way to get you out of there.”
Sarina had the good sense to refrain from pointing out that she could hardly go anywhere. She sat against the side of the shaft she had fallen down and investigated her bruises. I should really stop doing this, she mused.
At the top of Sarina's pit, Torin was scurrying about busily. He fished a rope out of his pack. Then he began to look about for something to tie it to.
There was nothing.
Nothing on the ceiling. Nothing on the floor. Nothing on the walls. Nothing.
The sandstone corridor at this point ran straight for a good twenty metres before turning a corner. And in that stretch, there was not a single statue or ornament to offer an anchorage point. He supposed that whoever had built this Gebmid had made it that way on purpose. When you set a trap, you don't want to make it too easy for your victim to escape. But he wished they hadn't.

|Illusen’s Thoughts On Jhudora’s Bluff Rewards|
I interviewed Jhudora on her day to review the Illusen Glade rewards. With it being Illusion Day I thought it would be only fair to have Illusen do the same with Jhudora Bluff rewards! I asked Illusen and she was quick to agree, seemingly eager in wanting to talk about Jhudora’s rewards.

|Chronicles of a Caped Crusader: Days Yet to Pass: Part Seven|
Chloe mounted the stairs back to the sitting room where she had left Buzz. She opened the door quietly and found Buzz still there. He was sitting across from Kristy, having pulled a chair up to the sofa where she was now seated. She had finally changed out of the ridiculous costume she had been wearing.
