The cloaked figure moved forward till he was right in
front of Rachel. Rachel didn't want to look scared so she cleared her
throat and spoke: "I don't know what you think your doing this for but
it won't last I am--" She spoke with confidence but was cut off.
"I know who you are but the question is do you know who
you are?" the figure spoke with the same cold and hard voice she had.
Seraph and Mara suddenly bounded over to try and help
Rachel by standing in front of her. The figure reached for Seraph.
"Hey you leave them alone!" shouted Rachel, "I don't
care who you are you will not do anything to them."
"You don't know what your doing Odia," the figure replied.
"Odia?" Rachel gulped.
"Yes, it means 'hatred' it should have been the perfect
name perhaps if you were with me then it would have been."
"NO! I am Rachel."
"Settle down Odia don't make me do anything to your
innocent pets," he laughed
He stepped into the light so he could be seen clear.
"I am Dr. Sloth," he said with pride, "And you,
my dear, are my daughter."
"NO!"
"It's true."
Rachel turned to Fightinggirl, "I'm your daughter."
Dr. Sloth turned to fightinggirl and smirked
"No, Rachel you are not," said fightinggirl sniffing
Dr. Sloth grabbed Rachel's arm and turned to the Grundos:
"Get back to the battle! They'll escape if you just stand there! IDIOTS!!!"
Mara whimpered but Seraph snarled and leapt for Sloth
who tried to turn but didn't quite make it.
"OW!" he yelled as sharp teeth dug into his arm.
Mara growled too and leapt for his head with her claws
and teeth ready. "Run Rachel!" yelled Fightinggirl
"No," Rachel replied and reached for a black bag she
had on her back and pulled out a wand of Ultranova.
With a sudden strike, Sloth was knocked to the ground
a sudden cloud of black smoke rose and he was gone, and his army slowly
vanished too. The Sakhmet pets started to cheer as the mutated forms turned
back to normal.
"Yey for Odia!" cried an Aisha.
"No!" she shouted, "I am not Odia, I am Rachel and I
always will be." Rachel reached down to pat Mara and Seraph. "Fightinggirl,
Mara, Seraph and Silver are my family and that's the way it's gonna stay."
The End
Author's Note: As you know the battle of Sakhmet was
not won this way but was finished by a Lupe, wasn't it? Oh well, I hope
you enjoyed the story as much as I did typing it. |
