I sit
In a little corner
Of a tiny cyberspace
And watch
As my owner
Who created me
("Mistake" she said)
Played with the others
And I
Was left alone.

She
After so many
Petitions
Against "Putting Pets Up For Adoption,"
Fancy words for saying
Dumping off
If you ask me,
Decided not to send me anywhere.
But to keep me
Lonely
Isolated
And hungry
Very hungry.

But she though
She was being
Kind.
Was she?
With adoption,
I have a chance.

Here
In my little corner
I sit
And wait.

For I am the Other Pet.

Through the frustrations of the day
Not being able to buy the stuff I need
I return to my cardboard home
With four hungry pets to feed

They look at me hungrily
Yet I have nothing to give
How could we survive this hardship?
And yet live?

My Kacheek, Jubjubs, and Shoyru
They are all so dear to me
I return home every day
Their smiling faces to see

They have meager toys to play with
Still, a happy life they lead
Because happiness, love,
And the comfort of a home
Are all they need

One early dawn these Korbats came
To hold Tyrannia in their name
We're fighting back!

But I know our victory we'll proudly sing

I cannot sleep at night,
Not on the cold floor.
I feel I am not wanted,
I claw at the door.
I look up when you see me,
But no one really sees me.
I am invisible, gone,
I am an Invisible Zafara.
My name is Darky135.
You don't see me,
But, I see you perfectly.
You never know I am here,
I am skipped at meal time.
I am dying of starvation,
That is when you come in.
You see me, you hold me,
You tell me it's okay.
I have hope! I have love,
But most of all I know this,
I will never be ignored again.

Her fever was rushing
raising
burning.
Her cries were sad,
hurt,
upset.
She couldn't have the miraculous,
wonderful,
too-expensive-for-her-owner cure.
So she sat it out calmly,
softly,
patiently,
while her owner mailed,
tens,
hundreds,
thousands of people for help.
Then, as from a miracle,
a Faerie came,
for she saw the suffering,
and handed the owner a
Neopox Pizza Slice.
The pet gobbled it down,
and waited through the night.
The Faerie had long gone,
and the fever still raged.
Finally the fever broke,
the pet was well,
the pet,
my pet,
was healed from a horrid disease,
and so now, whenever we're in Faerieland,
we stop on by and thank,
our friend, friend of Neopia,
The Healing Faerie.
