Christmas Dinner

The smell of flaming Fire Faerie pizza,
mangled geopeppers adding spice,
with neocrackers on the side,
and a meat wrap to make it nice.

A cup of coffee at the side,
fried shrimp and honey,
potato wedges all crisp and warm,
all sounds nice and yummy.

Mortog berries in a circle,
Illusen's cream cookies to add taste,
gingerbread Myncies in the middle,
with chocolate eclair paste.

Turkey and cranberry pizza,
with a gingerbread Grundo on top,
and a mouth watering carrot,
enough to make any pet flop.

As all the Neopets are getting fuller,
out comes the Shadow Usul ice lolly,
engulfed in brilliant bubble cream,
which makes all Neopets jolly.

Then out comes the chocolate chip
Gelert ice cream sandwich,
covered in creamy choccywhip,
then all their faces light up,
when they see their fajita chips.

When they are full
and sitting at the table,
they sneak scraps for
their Petpets onto the floor,
then their Petpets give
their scraps to their Petpetpets,
soon they all can't practically
fit through the door!!!

Jhudora's Wrapping Presents...

Jhudora's wrapping presents,
And Magax's hanging mistletoe,
Christmas time is almost here,
For the Neopians' Christmas woe!

"What should I buy my Skeith for X-mas???"
"Who has a flake of icy snow?"
"Where can I find the bestest bargains?"
All Neopians want to know.

A Skeith can get a great huggy plushie,
Icy snow? I don't know,
Bestest bargains? Check the Wiz!
The Christmas spirit always grows!

Now that everything is done,
The tree is up and ready,
Santa's moving through the town,
A-handin' out the prezzies,

And soon all the pets will come,
A-hoppin' down the stairs,
To see their favorite stuff among,
A pile of Christmas wears!

A Grey Faerie

The skies loom a lonesome grey
The shadows taunt her day to day
Ripped from her, the one thing she needs
Her great beauty and glistening wings

The tears flood her tiny cage
Her dreams of hope have turned to rage
Wishing one day to make things right
And maybe someday return to flight

Locked inside her tiny home
Nowhere to be free or to roam
All alone, no one will care
Except the shadows that sit and stare

Shunned from everything she once had
Her world is broken, torn and mad
She has no grace, no hope, no fear
Wanting the reason for this to be clear

The Fall of Maraqua

In the dark and depths of night,
In the endless deep blue sea,
Where there is little shining light,
An evil spirit wanders free.

The people of Maraqua,
Were happy and content,
But none could have foreseen,
This unfortunate event.

A captain with a heart of stone,
A ship with tattered sails and decks,
A crew with evil in their bones,
A skull tattoo upon their necks.

They sailed towards Maraqua,
Intentions evil and dark,
And when they reached the city,
They'd be sure to leave their mark.

The King of Maraqua was lazy,
And couldn't be bothered to pay,
But he was unaware,
Of the evil headed his way.

The pirates marched right up to him,
The captain wore an evil grin,
They ordered him to pay them well,
Or else he would be sent to hell.

The king refused to pay his share,
The captain cursed him then and there,
The city shook, crumbled, and split,
And all that was left was a bubbling pit.

In the dark and depths of night,

Roams the spirit, of the foolish king,
Cursed, for all eternity.

Aethia's Calling

A note worn by the ages,
A name the faeries feared,
They all awoke one frosty day,
To find she'd disappeared

None but the wind would greet her,
None chased her but the chill,
Sped on by the map she held,
Her heart ached for a thrill

Her goal was still uncertain,
Far from the Faerie Queen,
She sought the Battle Faerie's past,
The warrior named Valeane

Aethia of the academy,
Was the young faerie's name,
The map lead her to the Haunted Woods,
This was more than a childish game

Seeking legendary swords,
Through darkness and despair,
Red eyes pierced the darkness,
As she saw evil stood there

Surrounding by a pack of wolves,
Fiona stood aglow,
The Battle Faerie met her match,
With Fiona long ago

Aethia fled with terror,
Though none were there to hear,
She stumbled into a clearing,
And for a second forgot her fear

Before her lay the mourning tree,
The last stop on her quest,
Withered by the claws of time,
Her heart beat in her chest

She approached its gnarled bark,
As the hounds bayed at her heels,
A mouth-like hole emerged and through,
Two swords were then revealed

"What do you seek?" it asked.
"The blades of flame and ice..."
"Who wielded them so long ago?"
"Valeane," she whispered twice.

"Why do you seek these swords?"
The sound of the pack reached her ear,
"Why do you seek these swords?"
Fiona cackled for all to hear

"Why do you seek these swords?"
She muffled a terrified cry,
"To teach others to defend themselves,"
She screeched to the loveless sky.

The tree's great maw split upon,
Cold steel caught her eye,
As Fiona's wolves dived forwards,
Brandishing both blades high.

She shone in all her splendour,
As she took to her new role,
The Battle Faerie, Aethia,
Defender of poor souls.
