When The Pirates Came By Tinysaiyan

I still remember all the buildings,
Those Vegetarian Tacos
With their delicious fillings!
The PetPets and the Utility Fish,
Oh, I wish they'd return! Oh, how I wish!
'Twas a glorious day when the pirates arrived,
The golden sun lighting
The depths from the azure sky.
I noticed the strange ship, hovering silently past,
The dark flag on top waving at full mast.
I'd seen that pod once before,
yes I'm sure of it now,
They stole some of our treasure,
no one knows how.
It had left the king in such distress,
His wonderful throne room was in such a mess!
Back to our story now, the pod glides by,
No one stops to wonder why.
It reaches the palace, the pirates land,
Oh, they were such an ugly looking band!
The Kiko, the Blumaroo and the Mynci, too,
All members of the terrible pirate crew.
I stared through the window,
At the scene before my eyes,
It was obvious that us, the pirates did despise.
The gold, the King would not hand over,
He stood his ground,
The pirates just glared, and the captain frowned.
He narrowed his eyes, and drifted off,
Leaving the King to stare and scoff.
And so, the day went lazily on,
Everything was right, nothing was wrong.
I went to bed and closed my eyes,
Thinking of wonderful things, like home-made pie.
I woke up at 1 AM, my house it did shake!
Outside, the waters they did quake!
Everyone was swimming around in fright,
Oh, the dreadful thing that happened that night!
The waters churned and foamed
Like I was being swallowed,
My house was destroyed, I felt so hollowed!
My Petpet and family were swept away
I am just a lonely Koi, a humble stray.
My life will never be the same,
Since that fateful day when the pirates came.

The Destruction of Maraqua By Dittydude

Maraqua is gone
Or so i was told
The entire stronghold
Was destroyed for a few sacks of gold

The desperate tenants
Of the city submersed
Never knew
Of such a horrible curse

And when called on to flee
Were heard to reply
What's going on
Are we going to die?

But that wasn't the end
Of Maraqua's destruction
Which was caused by
The spiral's tremendous suction

And the whirlpool
Didn't dissipate
So the tenants of Maraqua
With much hate

Swirled around
In the massive seas
Thrown about
By the tremendous G's

Which was caused by their homes
Still barely intact
Being thrown about the sea
Like insignificant shacks

When they finally
Washed ashore
The Maraquans escaped
Through the door

Of their former dwellings
Which still contained
All they ever held dear
And valued and gained

On Mystery Island
The survivors would stay
And that's how Maraqua
Just faded away

The Pirate By Sourswordwielder

Maraqua was a peaceful place,
Standing good and true,
When along came a ghastly ship,
An evil skipper, and his crew,
The cap'n gave a shout,
Sending orders to the mate,
"'Tis a good day fer plunderin',
Never is it late!"
The helmsman grinned,
A toothy one at that,
What evil deed did the cap'n have
Beneath his pointed hat,
The emperor saw them coming,
A gasp escaped his throat,
He shuddered as he watched the crew
Walk along the looming boat,
The Maraquans fled,
Darting left and right,
The cap'n came to the emperor
Greeting him with his plight,
Gold! He demanded, gold all for him,
"Never!" cried the emperor,
"Not on your very whim!"
Well this maddened the cap'n
With a wicked gleam upon his eye,
He would blow Maraqua and all its treasures
High into the sky,
And so was left Maraqua
In a torrential whirlpool,
Oh how wicked was this cap'n
How evil and so cruel,
And so sailed on the pirate's ship,
Across the ocean blue,
Who is he looking for now,
Him, her or maybe you!

As Darkness Falls By Xtremethetwisted

The skies begin to darken
as the winds begin to howl.
The rain begins to pour
and lightning crashes
with a powerful growl.
The sea begins to spin
and the ground begins to quake.
Powerful currents begin to form
causing dozens of buildings to break.
Water spouts begin to form
leaving destruction in their path.
And, through all of this chaos
you can hear one pirate's laugh.
