Treasure Hunt
By Volcanica_kougra
I found a scrap of paper,
sitting on the floor.
My 1st ever map piece,
now I only need 8 more!
The second I saw,
was sitting in a shop.
Only 500 neopionts!
It made my jaw drop.
For my 3rd and 4th I traded,
a pair of Wellington Boots.
My 5th, I grabbed it laying,
at the Money Tree's roots!
My 6th and 7th,
I bought from a store,
this shop was un-expensive (yay!!!)
and had map pieces galore.
Then I found the last two,
from that good old Capy-tan.
I finally had all 9 pieces,
so to the puzzle room I ran.
But just as I went to claim my,
riches and items when,
that mean ol' Pant Devil came along,
now I have to start again!

Poogle Racing History
By Singerhunny
We all went to see the Poogle Races
Not expecting to see so many faces.
I held on to my pets' hands extremely tight
As we walked in the crowd
On this warm summer night.
I handed over NPs as we made our bet
Could our night get better yet?
We made our way over to the track,
Our Poogle was the one in black.
He was warming up for what was to be
The greatest night in history!
The race started and they were off like that!
We yelled and shouted and I waved my hat
We hoped our Poogle would win the glory,
But alas! He was in last and we started to worry.
Could he take the lead? Would he lose?
The Poogle in the black tripped and heard boos
"Stop it!" we yelled to the crowd
As loud as we could
"You’re fine!" we yelled. "You’re doing good!"
The Poogle tried again and took first place,
And everyone would remember that race.
He was showered in flowers and got the gold,
And on his gold medal he kept a firm hold.
He said "I’ve always wanted to win the race"
And he left that night with utmost grace.
And as for those, who booed him and that?
They now say, "Would you like fries with that?"

A Neopian Day
By Chani_cat
My eyes flutter open and I jump out of bed
I have a wonderful day ahead.
I'll play some games, spin some wheels
Win some neopoints, how good that feels!
The Omelet is the first place I go
Whether rain, hail, sleet, or snow.
Mmm, lovely, bacon, yum yum
Bacon Omelet is number one.
The Wheel of Mediocrity is the next place
I spin it good, I hide my face
What will my prize be this time?
A thousand neopoints? A bucket of slime?
Finally daring to open my eyes
I see the pointer point to my prize
No jewels? No points? No coronets?
A shower of fireballs singe my pets!
So off to the Wheel of Excitement I fly
Hoping to win, I give it a try
For one hundred neopoints I spin
And, wow! Ten thousand points I win!
Well I'm satisfied now
I'll store it in my bank account.
Now I'll go play Kiko Match
A memory game, no doubt of that.
I match those Kikos up real fast
The red pair is done, that's the last
I get my points and then I flee
Meerca Chase the next game will be.
So now I'm playing Meerca Chase
After that fifty-point Negg I race!
And to my surprise, I get
Six hundred points, my best score, I bet.
A Magical Meerca Plushie I win
I put it in my shop and then
I'm going to bed and there I'll stay
It's been a very eventful day.

Whack a Beast
By Mariners4life
I take my mallet,
and go off to the moon
what I see there,
I will find out soon.
I look in a crater,
while eating some bread,
when suddenly, out pops a head.
Immediately, I wish I were in bed,
and I see that the head is red.
So I take my mallet,
to flatten the thing,
and it comes down on it,
with a ding.
Then I see a little Neopet,
it is blue,
and my mallet hits another monster
and sticks like glue.
Before I know it,
I've killed all the monsters,
and the little pets
are looking lovely, like flowers.
So I go home after a hard day's work,
and I have some coffee,
just for a perk.
For I know I will be
going again tommorow,
to hit more beasts,
and give them sorrow.

Neopia
By Snowsorceress
A world of Neopets inhabit this land
Some parts beautiful, dark, and grand
Explore this world and find treasures rare
Visit the concert, maybe the fair
Go to the sweet Water Faerie in Faerie Land
Is your pet hurt, hungry? She'll lend a hand!
Go to Mystery Island with the Training School
Give up your codestones and learn to duel
There's also the Market Place
With shops of many
Don't let the shopkeepers fool you
And save every penny
There's also the Battledome
With fierce or friendly clashes
Win or lose the fight,
You'll still be left with slashes
The Ice Caves of Terror Mountain
Is where the Snowager stays
His treasure he protects,
You can get it while he lays
The Giant Omelette is delicious
And always there to eat
Take more than one slice
And the Sabre-X you will meet
It doesn't matter what part of Neopia you explore
Every part will be different for you to adore
New parts always pop up,
Currently Lost Desert and Tyrannia
You can rest assure
You'll enjoy everything about Neopia
